We are delighted to welcome Alex to the HEA team as a Senior Archaeology Consultant! Alex brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our growing team, making him a fantastic addition to our consultancy.
Alex has achieved Associate membership with the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA), a milestone that reflects his dedication and commitment to the field. With a career in archaeological consultancy that began in 2019, Alex has honed his skills working on a diverse range of projects.
His experience includes liaising with local authorities, Historic Environment Record (HER) officers, and archivists at both local and county levels—ensuring that his work is thorough, informed, and compliant with the requirements of the UK planning process.

He has produced numerous Archaeological Desk-Based Assessments, research reports, and appraisals for projects ranging from large-scale infrastructure developments and residential projects to property extensions, building conversions, and heritage restorations.
We’re especially excited about Alex’s strong research background, which will enhance our ability to provide exceptional consultancy services to our clients. His experience working across both urban and rural environments will be invaluable as we tackle a wide variety of projects in the months and years ahead.
Please join us in giving Alex a warm welcome to Fuller Long! We look forward to the insights and expertise he’ll bring to our team and the positive impact he’ll have on our projects. Welcome aboard, Alex!
